I am from the landscape of Dalecarlia. Dalecarlia has a long history of well known artists such as  Anders Zorn and Carl Larsson.

It is also in Dalarna I find my inspiration. The secluded woods, the quiet lakes is why I always come back here, but it is the people, so rich in tradition, that gives me the inspiration to paint.

To me, the craftsmanship of painting is equally important as the subject and because of that I admire the old masters and feel extra connected to Anders Zorn who lived in this neck of the woods almost one hundred years before me.
